ANSEM, a token deployed on Solana, has surged more than 2,900% since Saturday, reaching a market capitalization exceeding $120 million while maintaining top-ranking status among smart wallet purchases as of 17:30 Moscow Standard Time. The explosive rally stands in sharp contrast to the modest returns captured by the token's creator.
The wallet that deployed ANSEM spent $6,300 to launch the token and acquired 792.45 million ANSEM, later transferring 650 million tokens to a dedicated Ansem wallet and selling the remaining 142.45 million ANSEM for $11,800. This sequence of transactions netted the creator just $5,500 in profit—a negligible return relative to the token's subsequent appreciation.
The token's price acceleration has dramatically increased the value of holdings in the Ansem wallet. The 604 million ANSEM tokens stored on that address are now valued at more than $71 million, illustrating the stark divergence between early deployment economics and current market valuations. The disparity raises questions about token distribution mechanisms and whether initial deployers captured meaningful value from their projects.
