Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds recorded net outflows of $526.6 million during the past week, marking a notable shift in institutional fund flows as BlackRock simultaneously moved 2,265 BTC (valued at approximately $142.4 million) to Coinbase Prime, its custodial wallet.

The broader spot ETF landscape showed mixed sentiment across major cryptocurrencies. Ethereum experienced outflows of $13.67 million, while alternative assets demonstrated more resilience. XRP attracted inflows of $17.19 million, Solana drew $5.75 million, and Chainlink recorded modest inflows of $915,200. Litecoin, Avalanche, Polkadot, and BNB registered zero net flows, while Dogecoin saw minor outflows of $871,110.

BlackRock's transfer to Coinbase Prime warrants close monitoring, as custodial movements of this scale typically precede either institutional rebalancing activities or preparation for significant trading operations. The concurrent large-scale Bitcoin ETF outflows suggest institutional investors may be rotating exposure or taking profits at current price levels.
